Absence & Withdrawal Rules
Regular attendance is essential for learning. Students and parents are expected to strictly follow the school’s attendance and withdrawal policies.
Attendance & Leave
- 85% attendance is compulsory for all students to remain on roll and to be eligible for examinations.
- Half-day leave will not be granted. Once students attend school, they must remain for the full day.
- If a student is absent for 3 consecutive days without permission, re-entry requires approval from the Principal.
- For planned leave, parents must write a leave letter in advance. In case of illness, a doctor’s certificate should be submitted.
- Parents must call the school office between 9.00–9.30 a.m. to report a child’s absence, followed by a leave note the next day.
- Uncertified absence of more than one week may lead to removal from the school roll.
Withdrawal Procedure
- A written application by the parent/guardian is required for a Transfer Certificate (T.C.).
- Transfer or school leaving certificates will not be issued until all dues and fees are cleared.
- Seven days’ notice in writing is required for withdrawal.
- T.C. will be issued one week after the publication of results or approval of the application.
- A student who is continuously demoted will not be permitted to continue in the school.
Important Notes
- All certificates (T.C., progress card, conduct certificate) will be withheld if attendance or behavior is unsatisfactory.
- Fees once paid are non-refundable under any circumstances.
